US Automakers in decline?! You're KIDDING?
We're not going to commit to manufacturing significant numbers of hybrid-driven autos, nor even to diesel-driven engines. We'll keep pumping out our pick-up trucks and have them run at 17 MPG.All the while Honda/Nissan/Toyota are drastically increasing their production of compacts, hybrids...European makers are joining in, and even increasing the number of diesel models they're making available in the US.
